Original Brief

We have been asked to create a music magazine for a specified genre which in my case is dance music. It is to be created to a high standard and be attractive to its target audience. My aims consist of creating the magazine to a high standard, including interesting content and to try and make the magazine as professional as possible. It is of the up most importance that I focus on my target audience and make the magazine relate to them as I create the magazine.

To create a high quality music magazine and to carry out my aims I will be researching other music magazines to get ideas as well as carrying out other research of my specified genre so I can put high quality content from the dance world into my music magazine. To get further information about my target audience and to furthermore boost my knowledge of my target audience I have to create a questionnaire and a target audience profile which I can refer to whilst I’m creating the magazine. After careful planning and preparation for the creation of the specified parts of the music magazine I will be ready to create it.
